About the Project
Goal: This is a 7-week group project where two of us are designing a UI/UX app. As someone who finds it challenging to plan trips, especially to unfamiliar places, I thought, “What if there was someone who could plan it for me?” This idea inspired us to create an app where AI designs “personalized travel plans”, offering a tailored experience that perfectly fits my preferences.

It is important to understand the functions that are important in making this experience reliable and enjoyable. This developed user journey allows designers to have a clear understanding of where each functionality will lead.
For this visual branding, we chose navy blue as the main colour and used clean and simple fonts 'Amaranth and Roboto'. Navy blue was selected for its associations with trust, reliability, and high qualities that evoke a sense of security and calmness.
These font styles give the app a straightforward and modern look, making it feel easy to navigate and trustworthy for users as they plan their journeys.
We surveyed with approximately 11 questions focused on users' experiences with travel apps. Our goal was to gather insights into their preferences, pain points, and expectations, so we could identify areas for improvement and tailor our app to better meet user needs. Through these questions, we aimed to understand what features would enhance usability and make the overall travel planning experience more enjoyable and efficient.
Most users pointed out that travel apps often lack informative, real images, sufficient reviews, a "must-go" feature, and reliable customer service. To address these pain points, we focused on incorporating these elements into our app to enhance the overall user experience.

Our app initially provides a personalized service. When users look through the reviews, they can view real photos taken by other travelers. We’ve created an app that shares convenient, quick, and reliable information to make travel planning easier.
